In addition to the mediation fees if you have legal representation then you will have to pay your legal fees associated with the mediation.
The costs of mediation are not insignificant but they have to be weighed against the potential savings of costs if you settle the case and avoid going to trial, not only in terms of money but also in terms of management time saved in preparing for and attending at the trial. If you have a lot of emloyees who are expected to attend the trial as witnesses then their time will also be saved.
