Legal costs are mediated more than any other single issue. That is because at nearly every mediation settlement meeting or telephone mediation costs are negotiated after the substantive issue has been resolved. Legal costs disputes arise out of other cases which have settled following negotiation or trial. There is nothing to stop the paying party and the receiving party in those cases benefiting from the assistance of a Mediator to resolve these disputes.
How are Legal Costs Disputes mediated?
I offer the choice of mediation settlement meeting or telephone mediation. This will depend on factors like the amount in dispute and the location of the parties.
