Mediation and Dispute Resolution Services

Mediation Information & Assessment Discussions

A teleconference for the parties and their representatives. I give information about the mediation process and have a without prejudice discussion to investigate whether the particular case is suitable for mediation. There is no charge for this service.

Mediation Settlement Meetings

I act as an impartial Mediator between two or more parties in dispute. My role is to facilitate negotiations and to help the parties find their own solution, a solution which each side can live with. See the FAQ page for more information.

Telephone Mediation

This is similar to the settlement meetings but is carried out by telephone rather than with face to face meetings. It is suitable for lower value disputes or cases where location or some other factor makes a meeting impracticable.

Mediation Training (CPD courses)

I offer a range of courses depending on your needs. Starting with a basic introduction to mediation through to advanced mediation advocacy techniques. Tell me what you need and I will provide the course for you.

Legal Costs Mediation

Legal costs are frequently the subject of mediation after other substantive issues have been resolved. Legal costs can in themselves be a major source of conflict and I offer to help resolve these disputes through either face-to-face meetings or by telephone.

Expert Witness Joint Reports

Obtaining joint reports from expert witnesses in any area of litigation can be time consuming. Experts do not always appreciate the time limits imposed by case management directions. I offer to facilitate the preparation of the report and also ensure that it complies fully with the requirements of Part 35 of the CPR.
